Employment

Barriers identified: Limited awareness of accommodation processes among staff; accessibility training not yet mandatory.

Built Environment

  • Continue budgeting for accessibility-related repairs

Information and Communication Technologies

Barriers identified: Website and digital content not fully WCAG 2.1 AA compliant; video content lacks captioning.

  • Incorporate accessibility into design and development processes
  • Add closed captioning to video content

Communication (Non-ICT)

Barriers identified: Documents not consistently available in accessible formats; social media content lacks alternative text.

  • Consult annually with employees on accessibility in the workplace

Procurement

Barriers identified: Accessibility not consistently considered in procurement decisions.

Actions:

  • Review procurement documents and procedures for accessibility
  • Incorporate accessibility requirements into all new procurement processes

Programs and Services

Barriers identified: No system to document customer accessibility needs; limited support channels.

Actions:

  • Create a process to document customer accessibility needs on request
  • Provide ongoing accessibility training for customer-facing staff
  • Explore additional support channels such as live chat
  • Survey customers annually on accessibility concerns
  • Include persons with disabilities in the design of new products and services

Transportation

Arrow Technology Group has limited involvement with transportation. No barriers have been identified. This will be revisited if our involvement changes.

We are committed to ongoing consultation with persons with disabilities. Their input directly informs our accessibility initiatives and the updates to this plan.
