Built by the North, for the North
We bring high-speed internet to the communities that big telecoms forgot. Since 2005, we've been connecting rural Alberta and First Nations communities — not because it's easy, but because it matters.
We're not a faceless telecom. We're an Indigenous-owned company with roots in the communities we serve.
Arrow Technology Group was born from a simple belief: everyone deserves reliable internet, no matter where they live. While the big providers chase profits in the cities, we're out here building towers on reserves, running fiber to small towns, and making sure your connection actually works.
We provide internet for homes and businesses across rural Alberta — from First Nations reserves in Treaty 6, 7, and 8 territories to Métis settlements and small towns that most companies drive right past.
It started with a mission, not a business plan
The First Nations (Alberta) Technical Services Advisory Group launched with a mandate from the Chiefs of Alberta: build technical capacity in First Nations communities. At a time when most reserves had zero connectivity, TSAG started laying the groundwork.
SIS Strategic Information Systems was created to bring technology to Indigenous communities across Canada. They installed over 500 networks in schools, band offices, and health centers — the kind of unglamorous, essential work that actually changes lives.
TSAG acquired 51% of SIS, and Arrow Technology Group was born. We combined decades of experience, two extensive networks, and a shared belief that rural and Indigenous communities deserve better.
Today, we're still at it — still building, still expanding, still picking up the phone when you call.
The principles that guide everything we do
Your internet should just work. For Zoom calls with the grandkids. For running your business. For homework due at midnight. We build our network to stay up when it matters.
High-speed internet shouldn't be a luxury. We keep our pricing fair because connectivity is essential, not optional.
We're not headquartered in Toronto or Calgary. We're based in Edmonton, and many of our team members come from the communities we serve. When you call support, you're talking to someone who gets it.
We're not here to make a quick buck. We're building infrastructure that will serve these communities for decades. Fiber in the ground. Towers that last. A network that grows with you.
We use whatever works best for your location — fiber-to-the-home where we can, fixed wireless where we can't, and dedicated microwave links for businesses that need guaranteed bandwidth.
No one-size-fits-all. Just the right solution for where you are.
We're not done building. Every year we expand our fiber footprint, upgrade our towers, and push faster speeds further into rural Alberta.
We serve communities across rural Alberta, with a focus on:
